Donnie Howard is a midfielder in the Australian Men’s Olympic Sixes Squad. He played in 56 games of Division I lacrosse for Boston University and his grad year at Rutgers University, competing in the NCAA for five years. Donnie represented Australia at the 2022 World Games and the 2023 World Lacrosse Championships.

He founded Shark Strings with the goal to bring the same pro-level setups and expertise he experienced in the U.S. to Australian players, helping elevate the standard of play locally.

Donnie’s focus remains on competing on the world stage, including the upcoming 2028 Olympics, while continuing to grow the sport in Australia. He’s committed to using his experience from top-tier competition to develop the next generation of players and provide them with opportunities to succeed at the highest level.
